Martinez Family

This family was a pleasure to work with! The kids are so sweet and look out for one another. You can tell this family is very close! They are a football lovin family and even though they have different teams, they know how to still support each other.

This day of shooting was super cold and was about to rain. They stuck through to get these adorable shots! This is why I love doing photography. I get to meet people and families of all kind! Not to mention the traveling I get to do! I am too blessed. Thank you Martinez family for a wonderful day of shooting!

Broc & Ryanne

I had an amazing engagement shoot yesterday with Broc, Ryanne, Ryanne's parents, and a few of their... HORSES! I love experiencing new things with my photography and having horses as props was the best yet!  These horses on set were what we needed to make a perfect whimsical, rustic shoot.

Broc and Ryanne had such a wonderful view of how they wanted this shoot to go. I love that they were as creative and passionate about this shoot as I was. And with our creativity combined, we shot some of the most beautiful photographs.

I appreciate the love they have towards each other, the drive they have to walk with the Lord and how they strive to become like the great people that have passed on in their lives. They have such big hearts and deserve the only the best. What dreams and goals they have in common will only make their lives more incredible together.

Thank you for this amazing engagement session! It was an honor to capture your wonderful hearts and souls through these photos. The horses aren't the only ones that made this shoot special ;)

My fiance and I have had a garden now for a few years. We have gotten many wonderful harvests out of it! Over the years we have planted: artichokes, onions, corn, bell peppers, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, lettuce, arugula, herbs and tomatoes. It really saves money in the end plus it's a wonderful hobby to get you outdoors. We aren't experts on gardening, but we have such a fun time doing it and know what makes a garden healthy.
  • Know when each seed's season for planting is
  • Know when to harvest when the plants start blooming fruit & veggies
  • Know if the climate you live in is suitable for the plant
  • Know what plants to put next to other plants
  • Know how tall and wide the plant grows
  • Put in a drip system if possible to make it easier for watering everyday
  • Know whether to place each plant in sun, half sun, or no sun
  • If you have a plant in a pot or vase, know that draining is very important for keeping them alive. Drill a hole or holes into the vase/ pot it is in and underneath put a plate for the water to drain onto each time you water your plant. A lot of people don't know that this is the trick for keeping a healthy, living plant.
Propagating the seeds are a whole different story:
  • Keep them inside
  • Always have to be watered and drained
  • A lit lamp must be on them at all times
  • Usually kept in a plastic container (from Home Depot or Lowes)
  • Check on them every day to make sure they are not dry from heat, overly watered or growing mold
  • Once you finally see a little sprout, love it and care for it and be very gentle
  • When they start to grow big enough and you do not have to handle them so gently anymore, you can plant them outside or in pots for them to grow bigger!
We also have an orchard next to the garden with: apricots, cherries, nectarines, peaches, pears and pluots.
All of our plants are finally starting to bloom with this warm California weather! Yay! Our grapes, blackberries and strawberries are growing flowers and some already have fruit! And our orchard is growing a ton of fruit as well! Congrats to the nectarines who finally decided to start growing fruit this year. We can hardly wait to start making jam, jelly, compote, desserts, smoothies (ect) with our growing plants!
I'm sure you will hear lots more about our plants & trees soon with how fast they are sprouting! Until next time!

Growing A Blog

I have been working hard on trying to grow lately. I have been working hours and hours to bring new content to my fellow followers and supporters!
This means, blogging more! YAY!
A few friends of mine have created some successful and very creative blogs that I have been looking up to. Everyone has such a unique and personal style! Now, I am growing one of my own!

What I plan to bring to my blog:
First and foremost, my photography, of course! I want to share my photos, photoshoot experiences, photo tips/ tricks & any adventures I have along the way!
More blog content I would love to write about would be some other personal favorites of mine: food, health & wellness, being active, fashion, hair, makeup & the outdoors. I am more than just the girl behind the camera!

Where you will see my material:
I have linked most of my social media networks to my blog posts so that you all can have multiple ways to read, post, comment & share my blog!
Follow me on these sites!
Most used:
New Logo:
I have also updated my logo (as we all do) to not only get more of a fresh look, but also to describe who I am: an adventure-seeking wanderlust who only wants to live the journey of life to the fullest.
I am also obsessed with nature. Not only is it one of my favorite things to photograph because Creation is beautiful, but more importantly it reminds me of the One who created it. I always look to the mountains (figuratively and literally).
"For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken."
Isaiah 54: 10
The book of Isaiah always has most amazing verses!

Let's Do This:
I hope you enjoy what is to come! I cannot wait to produce material for you all! I'll be keeping you posted! Have fun & blog on!
